Hager VR640EVSPD is a VR range 6 way enclosed EV consumer unit with a 100A main switch disconnector, 40A 30mA DP switched neutral RCBO (6kA) and integrated Type 2 surge protection, operating at 230V a.c. 50Hz with IP30 protection (door closed) and a 36A continuous assembly rating for EV charging loads; supplied as a metal, indoor wall-mounted enclosure (IK05) designed for TN-C-S and TN-S systems to BS 7671, it supports efficient, compliant EV charging protection while helping reduce equipment risk from transient overvoltages and avoid repeat callouts through easy SPD status indication and cartridge replacement.
