The NexBlue Ready (NBREADY) supports staged, energy-aware EV rollouts by preparing charging bays in advance without committing to the final charger on day one. Supplied as a pre-installed backplate with blind cover, it provides IP44 protection (or IP22 without the cover) and a durable IK10 impact rating. The backplate includes RFID configuration storage and uses NexSync to locally transfer updated settings to a charger added later.
This approach helps reduce repeat electrical work and keeps bays reserved for future charging. Installation parameters include 5Nm terminal torque, 12mm strip length, and conductor capacity up to 16mm² for single conductors (parallel limits subject to regulations).
