Doncaster Cables PV-Ultra PV-ULTRA2C4.0-25 is a double insulated multicore solar DC cable for PV interconnections from modules to DC isolators and inverters, supplied in a 25m length with 2 cores (red and white) at 4.0mm² per core, nominally rated 1.5kV d.c. with a 52A clipped current rating, using Class 5 flexible tinned copper conductors with cross-linked double insulation to BS EN 50618 Annex B plus CarbonTek bedding and SolarTek outer sheath, and specified for -15°C to 90°C operation with a 120°C conductor allowance for up to 20,000 hours; it supports efficient, long-life PV installations by reducing the need for extra containment and helping maintain organised, lower-maintenance DC wiring over the system life.
