Test Instrument Solutions PV1 Solar Irradiance Meter 1999W/m² (TISPV1)
Test Instrument Solutions PV1 Solar Irradiance Meter 1999W/m² No IP Rating (TISPV1)
Test Instrument Solutions TISPV1 (PV1) is a handheld solar irradiance meter that measures solar power up to 1999W/m² (2000W/m² range) or 634 BTU/(ft²·h) with 0.1W/m² resolution, a 3¾ digit LCD, and controls for auto range, hold, zero and unit selection. It runs on 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (approx. 50 hours), operates from 5°C to 40°C, and is stated as EMC compliant to EN 61326, helping installers verify real irradiance and transmission readings to improve PV setup efficiency, support smarter self-consumption planning, and reduce wasted generation through better panel positioning and ongoing system checks.
