Elmex EMPV4NM is a PV solar straight male connector designed for durable DC interconnection of PV strings, rated at 1500V DC with IP68 protection when mated and up to 54A depending on cable size (2.5mm², 4.0mm², 6.0mm²). The connector uses crimp termination, a Snap In locking arrangement, and NEC interlock so EPVOS-S or EPVOS-U unlocking keys are required to unlock when mated, helping reduce accidental disconnection risk on PV circuits; it is tested to IEC 62852:2014 and specified with <0.25m contact resistance. Using stable, low-loss connectors supports efficient, long-life PV wiring that helps reduce repeat visits and material replacement.
