Doncaster Cables PV-Ultra PV-ULTRA2C4.0-50 is a multicore solar DC cable for PV string connections, supplied on a 50m drum with 2 x 4.0mm² Class 5 tinned copper conductors, nominal 1.5kV d.c. rating and 52A clipped current rating, with double insulated cross-linked construction meeting BS EN 50618 Annex B and finished with CarbonTek bedding and SolarTek sheath; it uses red and white cores for polarity identification and supports -15°C to 90°C operation with up to 120°C permitted for 20,000 hours, helping deliver organised, long-life PV cabling that supports efficiency targets by reducing rework and ongoing maintenance.
