Doncaster Cables PV-Ultra PV-ULTRA4C4.0-25 is a 25m drum of double insulated multicore solar DC cable with 4 x 4.0mm² conductors, 1.5kV d.c. nominal rating and 44A clipped current rating, built with Class 5 flexible tinned copper, BS EN 50618 Annex B compliant insulation, CarbonTek bedding and SolarTek sheath, plus red and white cores with identification marking, LIVE DC print and a rip cord for safer preparation; IP rating and wattage are not applicable for a cable, and the multicore design supports efficient PV wiring routes that can reduce extra containment and junction points, helping lower rework and material use across long-life solar installations.
