The HT Instruments I-V500W is a solar PV I-V curve tester for field verification of module and string performance, rated for I-V testing up to 1500V DC and 15A (with max 10A when Voc exceeds 1000V), offering IVCK measurements for Voc and Isc, IP40 protection, a backlit LCD, storage for 249 curves and 999 IVCK tests, plus optical/USB and WiFi interfaces for results transfer and SOLAR-02 RF compatibility; powered by 6 x AA batteries and specified for 0°C to 40°C operation with IEC/EN 61010-1, IEC/EN 61326-1 and IEC/EN 60891 compliance, it helps improve installation quality and ongoing efficiency by enabling accurate performance checks that reduce wasted generation and support lower grid consumption across sustainability-led PV systems.
